I could have done better though . Needed to be more systematic in presenting the investigations and managing the cases .
But then we learn from our mistakes . Don't we ?
It was a very stressful and exhausting Day , But the best bit about it was getting to meet up with new colleagues , talk to them and getting to know their career plans .
One was a Palestinian refugee in Lebanon , who is currently doing unpaid attachment in SKMC .
The other was a Pakistani graduate of Gulf medical college , who plans to pursue post graduate studies in Germany .
It was so refreshing to get to talk to them , it felt like we share the same dreams , worries , maybe even Frustrations .
I've also met one of my college seniors who is now R2 ( 2nd year Resident ) , She was here as an Organizer .
As she accompanied me to the interview hall , she said she believes in me and asked me to make our college " Proud " .
LOL !! ...The last thing i could worry about right now is making the college " Proud " !! .
In fact i wish it will get knocked down by a bomb or something !!
One sorry excuse for a medical college it is , whose " Graduates are more like a lost flock of sheep " as My mother likes to put it .
Anyway , I am listening to my favorite collection of Mp3 songs right now . I believe that's the best thing one can do after such a stressful day .
Later on i might go for a walk with Mom and see some friend .
I need some fresh air and ...
