Oh how much i loved that song and loved singing it .
The lady's voice is so haunting .
So you might have already guessed . The story line that i would love to live is ( Daddy long legs ) . I am referring to The Japanese cartoon
Not the original novel by Jane Webster . Unfortunately i didn't get the chance to read it yet .
I was about 13 or younger when i first saw this cartoon dubbed in Arabic on the local Abudhabi TV Channel .
I used to watch it every afternoon with my mother . It used to be one of her Favorites .
I remember At that time , Cartoons used to play a very fundamental rule in forming my generations' Imagination , mentality , and Morals .
Today you can hardly find an who belonged to that era , and doesn't recall it with appreciation and a longing smile .
Getting to the point . Daddy long legs was one of the cartoons that deeply affected me , and caused me to love literature at a very early stage of my life .
Juddy Abott is one character that i could always relate to .
we share a lot in common .
I always say she is my fictional twin .
LOL . My best friend often likes to tease me saying we look alike .
Few of the things that i can relate to in Judy's Character are :
The Hair that never stays in place , Self esteem , Lively character , Awkwardness , Ambition , Witty sense of Humor , Determination ,
Oversensitivity , writing for the love of it .
And of course ..
This whole " Daddy long legs " Fantasy .

My Daddy Long Legs ( Watashi No Ashinaga Ojisan) is a 1990 Japaneseanimetelevision series based on the novel Daddy-Long-Legs written by Jean Webster. The series was awarded the Excellent Award for Television by the Japanese Agency of Cultural Affairs for Children in 1990.
Plot Summary :
Judy Abbott is an orphan who has been given the opportunity to study at the prestigious Lincoln Memorial High School by a mysterious benefactor whom she only knows as "John Smith". She has only seen his shadow once, and because of his long legs, she calls him "Daddy Long Legs". The only payment she is to give her benefactor is that she write him letters every month, with no expectation of them being responded to[1].
The anime covers 3 years of Judy's life, starting with her leaving the John Grier Home orphanage, and ending with her finishing high school.
