I downloaded some of my favourite old songs of movies like ( Darr ) , ( Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge ) , ( Dil se ) .
Here is the song i was listening to the whole day , Jado Teri Nazar from the 1993 Darr .
My first favourite Sharukh Khan song .
He acts an obsessed lover in this movie .
Anyway , here is a fast update about today's events .
1. Got my last recommendation and had a little chat with Dr. George about residency programes , career plans , and gossiped a bit about other colleagues . ( Doctors like to gossip about each other , is that even ethical ? )
2. Went to a studio nearby HAAD to get a new official picture for the application .
Did i ever mentioned i dread taking official pictures ?
Makes me feel tense and nervous .
End result : goofy picture .
Ever heard of the " white coat syndrome " ? , patients dreading doctors and nurses ?
I guess i have " camera men " syndrome or something .
LOL .
ok , stop laughing !

3. After i was Done with the studio Horror and handing the application , Dad and i stopped nearby ( Jisr Al maqta' ) ( Al maqta' bridge ) to buy tea and sandwishes and have them in a straw - made resting area .
The bridge has some old history about it . It was there long before the Unity of the 7 emirates and the foundation of the modernUnited Arab Emirates
There is an old fort a few miles away from the bridge , that it was used to defend the old emirate of Abudhabi more than 200 years back against invaders .
It's funny that i have been living in Abudhabi my whole life , and i have been crossing the bridge almost daily without thinking to stop and check it . Well ...honestly i did think of that , but never stopped by thinking there isn't much to see.
But i was wrong ! , it's true that the area isn't by any mean a destination ( In fact it's a station for police )
What fascinated me was the quiteness , peace , and the Topaz glittery waters . The straw - made resting area too of course !
Setting there , felt so calming . As if the world all of a sudden stopped rushing , or the earth stopped spinning , and miraculously i was sent 200 years back .
